Air travel can be a challenge for everybody, but people with disabilties may face unique challenges when flying.
Which is why Spinal Cord Injury BC (SCI BC) recently teamed with YVR and created a series of videos focusing on different aspects of travelling for people with disabilities.
A panel of expert travellers with physical disabilities who have collectively explored more than 80 countries provided the travel tips which cover everything from getting to the airport, checking in (above), getting through security and collecting your baggage.
All of the short videos can be seen if you click here and more information on SCI BC’s accessible travel guide is available on their YouTube Channel and of course the SCI BC website.
