Ready, Set, EXPLORE!

Lace up your shoes and get ready to explore because YVR has a four amazing tour programs for you to choose from. Each year, we get hundreds of request for tours of the airport from people all over the city. You asked and we listened! Here are the descriptions of the exciting tour programs we now offer:

  • YVR Explorer Tour: Starting July 19th, visit any of our pre-security Customer Care counters and pick up your self-guided terminal map and begin your adventure at YVR. Kids will also have an opportunity to explore the terminal with they’re very own YVR Explorer Tour Passport. This Passport booklet is filled with fun activities and information for kids to discover.
  • YVR Take-Off Friday Terminal Tours: If you’re looking for something with a little more bite then join us at The Spirit of Haida Gwaii: The Jade Canoe sculpture at 10:00 am every Friday until the end of August 2013 where we’ll be hosting a guided tour through YVR.
  • YVR School Tour Program: Back by popular demand, YVR is once again offering our School Tour Program in Fall 2013. The program will run from September to November on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The tours are open to all Lower Mainland Grade 5 and 4/5 or 5/6 split classes. There is both a walking tour of the terminal and a classroom component.
  • YVR Wheelchair Experience Tour: Spinal Cord Injury BC (SCI BC) and YVR partners up every year to prepare passengers with disabilities for future air travel and an opportunity to experience first-hand the accessibility features YVR has to offer.
