Join YVR’s Airside Emergency Services (AES) team as they host their third Annual Pancake Breakfast in support of BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund on Wednesday, September 3rd from 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. at the Templeton Station bus parking lot.
Wake up bright and early to enjoy a (hearty) by-donation breakfast served up by our very own AES team, who more than know their way around a grill. Every dollar of raised at the event will be matched by YVR with the net profit going to help send kids to Summer Burn Camp.
While fresh pancakes and sausage is a nice start to the day, YVR will also have a live DJ playing breakfast beats, a Crash-Fire-Rescue truck on-site for kids to tour, and a chance to win a YVR prize pack. Whether you’re looking to fill your morning stomach or fulfil your youthful dreams of being a firefighter, there’s something for everyone.
So, come join us next Wednesday and enjoy a short stack for a tall cause!
The BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund provides burn victims aged 6-18 a week of fun-filled activities at camp. Since 1994, almost 800 burn survivors have benefited from attending the camp, receiving support from professionals donating their time and expertise to help victims overcome emotional and psychological trauma.
