Struggling to find some summer-vacation inspiration?
WestJet is launching two new daily, non-stop routes from YVR in May that might just put a couple extra destinations on the table and have you out exploring a new city.
Starting May 14, WestJet will offer to daily service to Chicago, Illinois. Think: Wrigley Field, Six Flags, deep-dish pizzas and architectural boat tours.
Passengers travelling on the new route will fly on the company’s own 737 Next-Generation aircraft. Introductory, one-way fares from Vancouver start at $169 (plus taxes and fees).
Starting just three days later, on May 17, WestJet will also offer daily, non-stop service between Vancouver and Whitehorse, Yukon. If you’ve never had the chance to visit up north, it is abundant with incredible wildlife (Yukon has seven times more caribou than humans), Yukon River trips aboard the historic S.S. Klondike, hiking trails galore and larger-than-life landscapes.
Introductory one-way fares start at $99 (plus taxes and fees).
