Hercules Visits YVR

The plane-spotting community at YVR is very active and passionate, and today they were given a treat as a special guest aircraft made a pit stop here.

The C-130H (Hercules), originally built by Lockheed (now Lockheed Martin) has been in production since the 1950s and more than 40 different variants are still in use with 60 different countries worldwide. This particular bird belongs to the Tunisian Air Force (you can see the insignia on the body) and has made a few stops before at YVR.

Thanks to the airside folks for their help in grabbing pics. More info.
