Photo of the Month: Fraser Valley - Canada from the Air

Fluffy little clouds - Fraser Valley, flying in to Vancouver

Every month we pick one of the many incredible entries to our Canada from the Air photo project and feature it as our Photo of the Month. For October we selected this beauty from Robert Shea, who actually submitted a few stunning shots that will all go up in our next in-terminal installation later this month.

Despite the frequency with which we fly, there is still that feeling of awe when you look out the window down on the Earth below. It really makes you realize just how tiny you are when you see entire farms reduced to mere specks on the ground below. An incredible photo with a cool filter that gives it that whimsical quality, this entry from Robert will be up on the wall of A and B Piers soon.

Thanks, Robert!

Anybody who wants to submit to Canada from the Air can email entries to canadafromtheair@yvr.ca or tweet them to @yvrairport and include the hashtag #YVRCanada and where the photo was taken. Our next round of photos is going up on the walls later this month, so get your pics in!
