I've said this before: we get a lot of incredible photo submissions for our Canada from the Air project.
From the pristine coast, to the spectacular Rocky Mountains, across the
sprawling Prairies all the way through to the magnificent eastern provinces and
But this picture takes the proverbial cake.
Simply titled: Rain Storm over Calgary, this amazing shot was snapped by WestJet staffer Joe Postnikoff, and captures Mother Nature in all her glory from a unique perspective as a massive rain cloud dumps its contents on to Cowtown.
Our country looks beautiful from any angle, but the views afforded through an airplane window produce some breathtaking shots and Canada from the air is truly a sight to behold.
