Flight Path Park Update

During the recent Annual Public Meeting for the Vancouver Airport Authority, Chair Mary Jordan took a moment to honour Larry Berg for his achievements as CEO for the last fifteen years.  She announced that in recognition for his work at YVR, Flight Path Park will be enhanced and renamed Larry Berg Park:  A Celebration of Flight.

This conceptual drawing reflects the design for Larry Berg Park. The park’s features will include a central plaza, enhanced pathways and an elevated plane spotting platform. Work will begin early this summer for a grand opening this fall.
