YVR is managed and operated by Vancouver Airport Authority under a long-term lease with the federal government. A not-for-profit, community-based organization, the Airport Authority reinvests all earnings into airport development and improvements and is governed by a community-based Board of Directors.

Media outlets wishing to film or conduct interviews on airport property require prior approval from Vancouver Airport Authority. Please contact Media Relations at 604.880.9815 or media_relations@yvr.ca prior to arriving at YVR.
All those wishing to use airport property for on-location photography or filming of feature films, TV series, documentaries, commercials, or general entertainment programs require Airport Authority permission.
