UPDATED: Arthur Laing Bridge Cycling-Lane Improvements

July 18, 2014

On July 29 and 30, Vancouver Airport Authority will widen bike lanes on the Arthur Laing Bridge to improve safety for cyclists. There will be minor impacts to local traffic at night, including:

• Reduced speed limits
• Closed cycling lanes
• Intermittent lane closures

Traffic lanes will remain open at all times:

• Two lanes open in each direction during the day (5 a.m. – 9 p.m.)
• One lane open southbound overnight on Tuesday, July 29 (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.)
• One lane open northbound overnight on Wednesday, July 30 (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.)

Thank you for your patience as we work to keep our roadways safe and reliable for drivers and cyclists.
